Description
Vintage Kodak Pony II 35mm Film Compact Viewfinder Camera w/ 44mm Anastar Lens Pre-owned in barely used condition. In the late 1940's, Kodak launched the Pony camera series. This series was designed by Arthur Crapsey, one of the most influential Kodak camera designers from the 1940's to the 1960s. The first model was the Pony 828: A simple camera that used 828 film (35mm roll film). In 1950 the Pony 135 was launched. It was similar to the 828 but used the 35mm cassette (135 format) we know today. The 135 was followed by the 135 Model B in 1953, then the 135 Model C in 1955. In 1957 the last two models were launched: The Pony II, made until 1962 and the Pony IV made until 1961. Except for the 828, this series used 35mm film as we know today. They have no light meter. All models have front element focusing. These were meant to be entry level cameras into the miniature or small format of 35mm film. It comes with camera, instruction manual & original box.
